PDC 30's Electronic Message Board Request Form

Painters District Council No. 30 proudly offers the opportunity for all non-profit, community-based organizations to display messages on our Electronic Message Board (EMB) to notify the public of upcoming events, announcements, fundraisers, and other information consistent with our message criteria. This service is provided free of charge for non-profits throughout north-central Illinois.

We will design your message using the details and images provided in your request. Or, if you prefer, you can design and submit your own artwork to display on the EMB. Information on dimensions is provided below.

Graphic Artwork

PDC 30 will design your message using the details and images provided above. But if you prefer, you can design and submit your own artwork to display on the EMB. 

**All graphic artwork submissions must be 570x180ppx.

Message Approval

Provided that your organization and message conform to the policy, message space/time is available, and the posting is achievable within a reasonable amount of staff time, PDC 30 will likely accommodate your message display request. You will be notified upon approval of your request and before the display appears on the Electronic Message Board. 

We will design your message using the details and images provided in your request above. Some organizations prefer to design their own artwork to display on the EMB. To do so, please ensure the artwork is compatible with the board dimensions (570x180ppx) and upload where indicated, above.

Service Fees

PDC 30 proudly offers the opportunity for non-profit, community-based organizations to promote events and important announcements on the Electronic Message Board free of charge.

Terms & Agreements

Eligibility Requirements
Community organizations may apply to use the PDC 30 Electronic Message Board provided:
- They are a community-based organization located within, or in close proximity to, the geographical jurisdiction of Painters District Council No. 30;
- They clearly subscribe to, or do not oppose, an individual’s right to secure union representation for the purposes of collective bargaining; and
- They comply with all applicable Illinois Prevailing Wage laws, responsible bidder requirements, and other public acts governing the purchasing of services falling within the trade jurisdiction of Painters & Allied Trades District Council No. 30.

Message Criteria
Messages posted on the EMB must conform to the following criteria:
- Images and messages must be appropriate to the visual scale of the sign and enable comfortable and prompt recognition and awareness for drivers headed East and West on Illinois Route 88.
- Images and messages may announce and/or promote activities, events, deadlines, and/or opportunities available to the general public associated with non-commercial, community-based organizations.
- Images and messages must not likely be offensive, discriminatory, profane, or otherwise inappropriate to any member of the public.

Agreement
By completing this form, you are agreeing to the conditions of Painters District Council No. 30’s Electronic Message Board Policy, as detailed above. You are also verifying that all names,
dates, and facts provided to PDC 30 to be displayed on the EMB are true and accurate. Your message will be responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
